Hairstyles
Okay, I have long straight hair and yes I do have dandruff. It's not that bad, so don't 'eww she has dandruff how gross'. I actually have tried the H&S shampoos and they work pretty well, they help me keep it under control. I need some suggestions though on hairstyles for prom. I know I can have my hair crimped to give to it some body, but I don't want to wear it down. I would like to wear it up somehow, any ideas? I was actually thinking of having it cut into a style, but I a little afraid to do that especially right before prom. What if it looks horrible, then I have to go with my hair looking ugly. Normally I wouldn't be so shallow, but come on it's prom. You only have ONE prom.

Thanks, all suggestions welcome.

i have long straight hair and what i do is i get them to put it in a high ponytail, but the back (under the ponytail) is an upside down braid. The hair that is the ponytail is then curled with two curls on the sides. very easy and very nice for prom.

Havign long hair is good for styles. You could get half crorsrows and then witht the rest you could crimp or curl it.Or you could get full cornrows. If you really want to go all lout you could get it done at a salon professionally for about 100 .I really suggest the cronrow thing though its good afterwards too.

Here is an up-'do with body, I'll try to explain it -- 1. gather all your hair in your hands as if you were going to put it into a ponytail, at about ear height. 2. twist this up. If your hair is up and twisted and there is still some left over art the top, just fold it down. 3. make a fist over the twist with your left hand and hold it so your thumb is pointing to your spine -- try to make the twist "seamless" on the left side by pushing the hair to the right and curling it under. On the right side, leave the twist but push many large bobbypins right into the side of it, under it, on top, anywhere you need it. 4. This is kind of what a french twist looks like,I think. BUt here's the part that give it body. On the left side, the "seamless" side, your hair should feel kind of looser at the top. Take that top layer of hair and gently fold it over to the right. It should stay IN the twist, but pushed over, which gives the height, and if you do it right, it looks really glam and great. TIP: if the bobby pins won't hold it, with the help of a little hair spray, use a large butterfly clip that matches your dress. Same effect, better hold!

just go to a salon and look through a hairstyle book....get one that maybe braids attached to your head and goes up somehow... ...i know that sounds goofy and horrible looking...but i've seen it before and it's pretty but i can't describe it...anywayz, just look through some picture books...
